Suraj Mahant has always been passionate about Food and so he started his career in F&B business in 2015 by operating is own Café & Restaurant in South Delhi and North Campus. He joined Lite Bite foods as a Business Development Head for their catering division – Savour. By 2016 he was made the Brand Head for the same and was handling Business Development across the board. by the year 2020, with Suraj’s network he was able to take the catering business to a 500% growth within 5 years, handling up to 30000 meals per day. In 2020, Suraj decided to venture out further in the F&B business and work on newer formats so he started his own company - Feastary Hospitality. He is the driving force behind the success and expansion of his Hospitality firm. Under his presence, Feastary has been able to formulate six exciting brands and unique concepts like Chaat & Chai Co., Matki, MomoYomo, Masala Gali, The South Pantry, and Brew & Bean co. In a short span of 2 years mid pandemic Feastary was successfully able to is a 40-outlet strong brand with presence across North India.
Passionate, creative, well organised Chef Akhilesh is a Hotel Management Graduate, who comes with 15 years of culinary experiences, he brings dynamic and innovative energy to Feastary. With expertise in handling food safety management and customer relations, Chef Akhilesh strives to achieve target and exceed customer satisfaction while ensuring quality procedures. He is certified chef with ISO 22000. His passion to continuously learn and take up challenges have helped him build a strong journey with renowned brands such as the Oberoi hotel, Intercontinental Hotel Group(IHG), Hotel Leela Kempinski ( Pre-opening team), Kwality Group, Crowne Plaza ( pre-opening team), Lite Bite foods to name a few. In his prior experience, Chef Akhilesh was associated with Lite bite foods pvt ltd as Brand Chef for all institutional food businesses, handling 13 different sites and was responsible for kitchen set up and operations, manpower management, deployment and training, equipment planning and menu engineering. Currently, at Feastary Akhilesh handles spearheads the kitchens for all the Feastary brands where he is constantly coming up innovations and standardising the recipes. He also overlooks project implementation and commercial operations.
Shefali holds a Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Oxford, UK with a specialization in marketing and has done her under graduation in Management Studies from Symbiosis University. She has a passion for food and comes with a diverse and multicultural experience in food consulting, brand building, marketing, & intellectual property creation. Previously, she worked with FSSAI where she was leading social media, communications and projects pertaining to Eat Right India initiatives. She has also authored a Recipe Book for FSSAI. Shefali has gained international exposure through working with Nestle in London where she handled Brand Marketing, e- Business, brand immersions and campaigns. She has also consulted many F&B brands in India on menu engineering, New Product Development, executing food events and launches. Some of her clients include- Khoya, Krispy Kreme , Sangam courtyard, Select Citywalk & The British School to name a few. Shefali has played an instrumental role in expanding Noodle giant – Wai Wai ‘s FMCG business by introducing RTE Food line namely Dhaba by Wai Wai. Currently, at Feastary Hospitality Shefali leads Branding and Marketing activities for all brands under the Feastary umbrella. She is involved in concept creation, new product development and oversees all brand functions including PR and communications, content marketing, on-ground activations, consumer marketing and engagement.
With an enriched operations experience spanning over a decade, Mantaran started his career in 2011. Mantaran Graduated from International Hospitality & Administration RIG-IHM (India) in collaboration with AH & LEI (USA) and a Postgraduate in Human Resource Management. He worked brands like Nirulas, Asian Haus, Nanking, Haldiram’s & Moti Mahal Delux. Mantaran has had experience in Food Consulting as well, where he helped different brands like Wai Wai City, Krispy Kreme, PitaPit and many others getting company structure and operational systems in place and created operations manuals for them. Throughout his professional tenure, Mantaran has gained cross functional knowledge across all departments and formats of hospitality sector, handling a team of over 100 employees, while expanding the company to new locations and the creation of new brands. He possesses a FOSTAC certification in “COVID-19 Guidelines” from FSSAI as well which makes him a trained professional. Mantaran is proficient in front of the house operations, brand expansion, financial planning, and vendor management. At Feastary, He has successfully helped launch several new outlets and turned around the existing ones. He is also instrumental in managing the company's overall franchising strategy and network management for all brands. He is responsible for creating a sustainable business model for Pan India operations and looks after the project implementation and commercial operations.
